StarrFMOnline is the online platform of Starr FM which is owned by ‘Excellence in Broadcasting’ (EIB) Network.

In a survey by Goodman AMC, StarrFMOnline was mentioned as one news source among the top seven online influencers that Ghanaians would trust to provide first-hand and reliable information in the 2016 presidential election. The online platform held a trust percentage of 10% and ranked fourth among online platforms in the country.

Excellence in Broadcasting (EIB) Network operates Starr 103.5 FM, Live 91.9 FM, Kasapa 102.3 FM all in Accra; Ultimate FM (Kumasi), Agoo FM (Nkawkaw), and Empire FM (Takoradi). The group also owns The Daily Heritage Newspaper. It is the umbrella for Empire Group of Companies which again runs Empire Records and Empire Entertainment.

The founder and CEO of Empire Entertainment was Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi (Bola Ray), who opened his own radio station, Empire FM. Empire FM was later acquired by Kwabena Duffuor, Former Ghanaian Finance Minister, which started the EIB Networks journey. Adisi is now CEO of EIB. EIB Network and its subsidiaries have grown over a relatively short period of time. The buying of smaller media houses has and continues to aid in positioning EIB as a strong force in mainstream broadcasting business in Ghana.
