The Fattal Brothers
The Fattal brothers – Talal Fattal and Fadi Fattal – own shares in Optimum Media Prime, a company registered at the registrar general’s department that manages Metropolitan TV (Metro TV). Talal Fattal holds 36% of the shares in Optimum Media Prime, while Fadi owns 15% of the shares. The remaining 49% of the shares are owned by Kingdom Business Link Ventures Capital Limited.
Talal Fattal, the older of the Fattal brothers, is CEO of Metro TV. He also is a veteran singer, songwriter, arranger, and producer. Between 1985 and 1992, Talal performed with a number of international artists such as Osibisa, Alpha Blondy, Jimmy Cliff and Jermaine Jackson. He also formed at a point in time in his musical career the Eboni Band. In 1986, he won the Entertainment Critics and Reviewers Association of Ghana (ECRAG) Discovery of the Year.
Little is known of Fadi. He is managing director and chairman of the Global Village Media Group (GVMG), a marketing and public relation outfit. In 2014 GVMG bought 40% shares in Accra Great Olympics, a premier league football club in Ghana.
There are no available public records of their business associate except the business partnership with Kingdom Business Link Ventures Capital Limited.
