Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi
Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi, popularly known as Bola Ray, is a Ghanaian radio presenter and entrepreneur. He is one of the entertainment industry’s most successful and respected personalities, receiving a number of awards such as International Media & Entertainment Personality of the Year award (GUBA, 2015), Vector Recognition Award (2010), City People’s Awards (2012), 2016, Man of the Year – Communication (Exclusive Man of the Year Awards, 2016). He is also seen as one of the most influential personalities in Ghana.
Adisi is the CEO of the Excellence in Broadcasting (EIB) Network, one of Ghana’s biggest media establishments. It is the legal umbrella for Starr FM, Live FM, Abusua FM, Empire FM, GH One TV, the Heritage Newspaper, and a host of others. Adisi is also founder and CEO of the Empire Group of Companies, comprising Empire Entertainment and Empire Records. Under that outfit, he stages the annual highly-anticipated Ghana Meets Naija Concert.
After graduating, he joined Top Radio and later BBC Radio as first African and Ghanaian to host ‘Top of the Pops’. In 2003, he moved to Joy FM as host of the Drive Time Show after working for 11 years at Joy FM, he joined the EIB Network the host of Starr Drive on Starr FM and as the CEO of the group in 2014 in xxx. Under his leadership, EIB now rivals its elders in the industry.
Adisi has a Diploma in Public Administration, a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Ghana, and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Central University College. In 2015, he graduated with an MBA in Global Business and Sustainability from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan (ALTIS) and the Catholic Institute of Business. He is married with three children.
